Al Stewart put on a marvelous show at Bremerton's Admiral Theatre Saturday, February 6, 2010. It was a phenomenal concert and we had a wonderful time. Meeting Al was a highlight of the night!

I have posted this hoping that if you need to do this job you can learn a bit from my trial and errors, and also realize that it's not rocket science. It actually was easier than I thought it would be. It's all about paying attention to detail and not getting in a hurry. It took me two months to do the job but that's just because I took my time and sometimes let weeks go between the stages. It really could be done in a weekend, if you had the time, materials and energy (and no cat and no wife). The fact that I did it, it worked and I didn't get seriously injured in the process says much, as I can get seriously injured just taking out the trash. I am a database programmer, after all - certainly NOT a mechanic.]]>

I have posted this hoping that if you need to do this job you can learn a bit from my trial and errors, and also realize that it's not rocket science. It actually was easier than I thought it would be. It's all about paying attention to detail and not getting in a hurry. It took me two months to do the job but that's just because I took my time and sometimes let weeks go between the stages. It really could be done in a weekend, if you had the time, materials and energy (and no cat and no wife).
