Wow, Erica in her McDonald's uniform. The job at the Kitsap County Courthouse just wasn't giving her enough hours to even cover her fuel costs. Would you like fries with that? :)
Wow, my beautiful daughter landed a boyfriend who I really like! Taylor seems like a great kid and you gotta admit, they are very cute together. This is a photo I took of the happy couple before they headed off for PROM NIGHT!
WHITE AND NERDY: Whiter than sour cream, Hoooooga poses wearing Daddy's glasses. These are the glasses I wore 15 years ago, back when I had a mullet. ;)
OMG! My daughter is going on 17!!! When did that happen? This photo is one of my favorite computer wallpapers and still doesn't do Erica (Hoooooga) justice. What a brilliant, beautiful child. Just like her sisters. But this is her 15 minutes here ...
Hoooooga, left, poses with two of her friends in this interesting shot.
Hoooooga drives her Daddy on the open road for the first time. (Those are her white knuckles, not mine!)
Hoooooga poses with her friend before her Freshman Dance at school, looking breathtaking in her outfit, and making Daddy's heart swell with pride. Yes, it's true, they grow up TOOOOO fast.
First, Jim W. Coleman got to take his daughter, Hooooooga, car shopping and let her (basically) pick out the car she wanted. Next, he got to work with her on her driving skills. Here, he sits with Hoooooga in the car, pleading with her to relax.
Hoooooga stands in front of her first car, a Ford Taurus, purchased today from Thomas-Lincoln Mercury in Bremerton. If you need a car, go there and ask for Jon Rohlman. I've bought two vehicles from him now and he'll treat you right. Mention my name, too - Jim W. Coleman. Buy a copy of my book, Level Heads XE. The first story in it was loosely based on Jon's colorful character.
Good grief! Hoooooga has a new digital camera and is having too much fun with it! Here, she must be thinking of when Daddy said she couldn't date until she's 30!
Hoooooga and her baby brother emulating a washed-up former rock star...

Hoooooga wanders around the Puyallup Fair in search of sunglasses. Photo by Linda J. Coleman
Hoooooga and Rina with Janene's daughter, Rebecca, on the steps at the Longview Ave. (Port Orchard) townhouse.
Hoooooga does the karaoke thing with a breadstick while playing with her sisters, Rina and Kayla.
Jim W. Coleman with his daughter, Hoooooga, on her first day back to school.

Hoooooga explores the inside of what was a very bright yellow art/writing studio in the early nineties.
Exhaustion has set in and the house is quiet ... for a change.
Erica at Belfair State Park in 1994 or 1995 - not sure which.
Jim W. Coleman holds his daughter, Hoooooga upside down - a favorite game of hers.
Hoooooga's hair stands on end after rolling around on the trampoline at the Yukon Harbor cottage.
Here, Hoooooga has what could be described as a bad hair day ...
Hoooooga is being held back, something she doesn't like! And still doesn't!
Grandpa Wolf kisses Hoooooga goodbye. When he was buried a year later, his hands were folded over his chest. Between his fingers, this picture still rests - Grandpa faces it eternally.
Hoooooga always was a happy child - and why not? With a name like 'Hoooooga' you'd better be happy! :)
As a baby, Hoooooga used to LOVE to get under the sheets and crawl around, 'hiding' from daddy. When caught, she would laugh with delight and the game would start again.
I can remember when we couldn't wait for Hoooooga to start eating solid food - and now she won't stop! It's getting expensive! And, she's outgrown the Macaroni and cheese and green beans (sigh ... :)
Wow, talk about a bed hog! Here, Hoooooga makes full use of the surface area of mom and dad's bed...

Back when we were young and poor, we counted ourselves fortunate that Hoooooga REALLY liked Saltine crackers! (But not the store brand...)
Jim W. Coleman plays with his first-born child, Hoooooga. Here, she squeals in delight as Daddy acts goofy (off-camera).
Here, Jim W. Coleman shows his one-year-old daughter, Hoooooga, her birthday cake. Hoooooga, in turn, decided that she didn't want to wait for everyone else. :)
In a favorite photo, Hoooooga stands on the Ocean Shores, Wash., beach with an assortment of beach toys.
I don't think this needs an explanation. This was made into a coffee mug but I don't know whatever happened to that.
Hoooooga's favorite food when she was very young was Daddy's home grown tomatoes. Red, green, didn't matter. Here, she'd just ... feasted.
Hoooooga gets silly only six days after her birthday. Jim told her to hold that face as long as she could - Hoooooga didn't know he had a camera behind his back. :)
Hooga practices her flute. She later gave it up for trumpet. (Arrrrggghhhh!)
