This is our riding mower we got free of charge from a kind stranger by the name of Donna. A little gas, a new battery and a spark plug and it fired right up! Here, the mower sits properly adorned with a fitting Washington State license plate. :)

After scouring the Internet and trying all kinds of different solutions, I finally found a solution that WORKS! My chicken water never froze during two weeks of weather that never made it out of the 20's.

In order to keep my eggs clean, I line my laying boxes with shredded paper. I shred some of my own, and I occasionally bring home shreds from the office. Imagine my surprise when I went to gather eggs and found one egg with the name of my employer on it! I just had to get the picture ...

Needing to put about 300 feet of perforated drainage line below ground, Jim figured the easiest way would be to rent an excavator. Okay, maybe not the easiest way ... but certainly the most fun! Gotta love rental equipment ... it's not yours! :)

Most of you who view my photoblog already know this: Because I love toying with all the sex perverts on the Internet who use search engines to find sex, I like to intentionally bait them with words such as these: Here, my huge red cock has sex with a young teenage chicken ... blow, okay, you get the picture. I'm sure I'll get a zillion hits on this photo. In other words, Hurley does one of Lynn's hens. It doesn't get much better than this.

When one of our hens was killed by a fox or coyote (the jury is still out) I had to immediately build a fenced enclosure for the hens. Here is the new "Compound."

Well, we got this great new Rhode Island Red rooster ... I was gonna name him 'Woody' - (haha, wink wink, nudge nudge). But I ended up calling him "Hurley," after the character in my new book. Here, Hurley the Wonder Rooster flaps his wings as he makes his new home with six virgin hens...

Over the Fourth of July weekend, I successfully completed the engine installation on "Charlie Bug," the 1974 yellow classic VW Beetle. :) Now, to weld in new floorpans, as I had to remove most of the seats since there is nothing there to support them. Also pictured, the 1972 Beetle. I corrected an intermittent ignition problem with that car today, as well.
