BILLY MAYS - MAGIC PUTTY
Has anyone actually ordered any of the Magic Putty that Billy Mays demonstrates on tv? He molds it into a handle for a coffee cup, uses it to patch leaky pipes, claims it will support up to 300 pounds when used to mount a book shelf, and even fashions it into a link in a chain that picks up a large concrete block. I have no interest in ordering this product but I'm always on the look out for far-fetched or misleading advertising claims and this is one that I have a hard time swallowing. If you have any experience with this product, I'd love to have you report your experiences!

I used it recently when our toilet broke late at nite. My husband put it on the flushed handle and in 45 minutes it had hardened around the broken handle. We tried flushing it-presto! Now we don't have to pay a plumber to replace the mechanism. I love this stuff. We are going to buy some more for those unplanned emergencies.

I tried Billy Mays Putty on a leaking pipe. It didnt work, the water just kept finding another path. Maybe it works in specialized situations, but didnt work for me.
