I had seen actor Jared Harris in "Fringe" but until I saw him play Anderson Dawes in the SciFy/Prime series "The Expanse," I never paid him too much attention - and was not aware of the depth of his work.
Now, I'm a solid Harris fan, and I chose to feature my interpretation of his Dawes character in this, the second of my new "The Expanse" art series.
Drawn painstakingly by hand, dot by dot by dot over nearly 80 hours, this work gave me time to take in some other movies and shows starring Harris. I had seen the 1998 "Lost in Space" remake but hadn't known that Harris played the older Will Robinson. With this fresh knowledge, I watched the movie again and thoroughly enjoyed his performance. And then I was blown away by his role in "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
For now, I'm hoping to see more of him in the upcoming season four of "The Expanse."

Technical pens were the mainstay of the designer and illustrator's craft before the development of computer graphics. Now, many art enthusiasts are rediscovering the technical pen because its handiwork stands out almost magically against the bland precision of computer rendered graphics. My work has always been produced with the best technical pens and durable India inks available.
Shipping and handling is included in the price of the original artwork.
