In order to keep my eggs clean, I line my laying boxes with shredded paper. I shred some of my own, and I occasionally bring home shreds from the office. Imagine my surprise when I went to gather eggs and found one egg with the name of my employer on it! I just had to get the picture ...

Author Cam

LIVE Author Cam
When I write, I tend to do it everywhere but at the computer. But there are times when I do need to sit down and put it all into Microsoft Word.

This is a live image of my writing studio, provided that I am there and have the computer turned on. If not, you'll get a static image. Sometimes it's black because I might need ... um, privacy. After two years of having the cam in the same position, I'm now changing the angle occasionally. Sometimes, you'll see Church, the devil cat (his bed is just past the flat panel monitor). Sometimes you'll see me. Sometimes, if I screw up, you may see more of me than you wanted to, but I try very hard to not let that happen (subscribers only, haha). Check back often!

The photo will auto-refresh every thirty seconds. I have to carefully time my nose-picking. :)

Happy Voyeurism!

Go ahead, ask a question

Why do I only see a black box?
It's probably the middle of the night, or I'm not in the room and the blinds are drawn.

Why is the image so dark?
I'm probably using a dim light.

Why is the motion blurred in the photo?
Beats me. Maybe I was drinking. Or you are. Has to be one of the two.

Why can't I see what's on your monitor in the picture?
Would you really want to???

Will I ever see you naked on here?
No. That's for subscribers only. LOL!

(Buy some books while you are here...this entertainment does not come cheap! :)

For you techno-geeks...

The AuthorCam runs on a Pentium machine that I built in an afternoon from the spare parts from numerous upgrades through the years. It's literally a wonder of coat hangars and duct tape.
