When I write, I tend to do it everywhere but at the computer. But there are times when I do need to sit down and put it all into Microsoft Word. [ MORE ]

In order to keep my eggs clean, I line my laying boxes with shredded paper. I shred some of my own, and I occasionally bring home shreds from the office. Imagine my surprise when I went to gather eggs and found one egg with the name of my employer on it! I just had to get the picture ...

This Beth Hart thing...
Beth Hart sings: I'm a little nervous in the Bible belt ... And that's all I need to hear to know that Beth is someone who can really connect with me.

I first heard Beth years ago while watching "Second Cup Cafe" on CBS. I think. Not sure of the network, but very sure about the name of the show and very sure about Beth. I had never heard of her before - had never seen her, and had never heard her sing. But after hearing her perform one or two songs on that television show, I went out the next day and bought all of her CD's. And I wasn't disappointed. Little did I know then, but I was embarking on a journey - one that, through her music, would lead me to great highs and to great lows, and would touch me in places not usually touched. Her fire, eventually, would jump the lines and add spark to mine, to fuel my writing passion as I developed new stories, characters and plots for my books.

If you've not yet heard Beth Hart, I would encourage you to pick up some of her CD's. I'll provide links here shortly.
