  ARCHIVED CHEROKEE PRINT: Of all the space shuttle prints I did for my Dad, this is probably my favorite. It is a print of the space orbiter Columbia blasting into space. Columbia has always been my favorite Orbiter. I hope Dad still has it. I will have to redraw this some day.
UPDATE: SO LONG, COLUMBIA: It was with great heartbreak I was awakened early Feb. 1, 2003, with the news that the Columbia orbiter had been lost. It brings back the nightmares of almost exactly 17 years ago, and those are memories I never cared to revisit. I drew numerous art prints of Columbia in the 80's, and saw the shuttle in person several times. This was always my favorite of the Orbiters. God bless the crew, and their families in this terrible time of national mourning.
