In order to keep my eggs clean, I line my laying boxes with shredded paper. I shred some of my own, and I occasionally bring home shreds from the office. Imagine my surprise when I went to gather eggs and found one egg with the name of my employer on it! I just had to get the picture ...

"Then ... Now"

ARCHIVED CHEROKEE PRINT: In 1988, I was thumbing through an old school textbook and found an anatomical drawing of sexual intercourse. It was a basic anatomical drawing of a penis, uterus, scrotum, etc. As I looked at the drawing, I began turning it to one side and then the other, and then upside down. I realized that the drawing - when tipped upside down - looked like the head of a monster! And so this print was born.

This print is rich with detail, particularly in the water slide area. There is a lot of beautiful stuff doing on - fellatio, intercourse, fishing, diving ... and so on and so forth. It was just a lot of fun to do, and the longer you stare at this print, the more activity you see.

The print was never completed. I was unhappy with the static pen sizes and the uniform width of the lines. I was too poor back then to afford more than just one or two art pens, and the heaviness of the print became overwhelming. Today, the print is mildewed and dirty.

But wait! Look below to see what I was drawing as recently as last night (March 23, 2002). Hmmmmm. Things are starting to look very familiar here, Sherlock. :)

And look ... why, there's that Geldof pose that I first used in 1984. And, ohmy, doesn't the structure of this print look like a print I completed last year, "Possible Pasts?"

Stay posted!
