ARCHIVED CHEROKEE PRINT: This is a pen-and-ink drawing of the Federation
starship USS Lexington passing by a planet and moon. The starship was drawn, and detail was added with commercial-grade stick-on dot patterns - which created an interesting visual effect, but do not withstand the test of time. It was an interesting experiment.
Going back through all this artwork is basically a forensics exercise. Fortunately, I recorded enough detail about most of these art pieces to reconstruct some relevant information. This particular print was begun on Aug. 1, 1985 and completed at 8:03 p.m. on Aug. 8.
This is a pen-and-ink on Letramax board.
The print, today, is too damaged to display - due to years of moving and improper storage.
Parts of this print are scheduled to be revived in an upcoming Cherokee print!
