This is a large, richly detailed drawing of Wilson Stewart, of Silverdale, Washington. Wilson is a woodworker, and one of the dearest people I know. He is aware that I am doing this art piece, but as he does not have Internet access, I don't have to worry about him checking up on my progress. :)
His wife, Charlotte, was not too impressed with the sketch. She says he looks too old. But this is the Wilson Stewart I know and love - and I will draw him as he is today - wise and kind, yet still a bit of a rabble-rouser.
This is for you, Stew. And for Tony and Leanne and Linda and Larry and Charlotte - and everyone else who knows you and loves you.
