  This, the latest CHEROKEE ART original, is a remake of the "Columbia Launch" original I penned in 1989 - a piece I gave to my father. This version is more accurate with ET, SRB and Orbiter dimension, and loses the MLP detail at the bottom. The Columbia always was the "family shuttle," due to Bob Coleman's intimate involvement with the Orbiter. I will be sure to send him a print once this is completed.
The print was begun Feb. 2, 2003 and was completed in the early morning hours Feb. 9, 2003.
